I love the ability to block “numbers that start with…”
Many incoming spam calls (most of which are spoofed) are built with invalid prefixes. That is, there is an area code, but the prefix starts with a 1 or a 0. These are obviously invalid numbers, and therefore spam calls, and we would like to block these.
But it’s not practical to set up a “starts with” rule for every single area code.
If you allow a one-character wildcard (typical is “?”), we could create a rule for numbers that start with ???1 and ???2, which would block 505.1xx.xxxx, 602.0xx.xxxx, etc.
